I found this cell phone picture of my maxi from last summer while organizing some stuff on my computer and thought I’d share. Spring, come soon!!!

Artcrank 2012

I am helping my pal Ross with his submission for this year’s Artcrank Poster Show here in Minneapolis.  I am not really a “woodworker” but I have tools, took woodshop in 10th grade, and have a  tendency to agree to do projects that I don’t necessarily know how to complete.  I figure there isn’t anything hindering me from doing it and there is no time like the present to learn something new…

My part turned out well and knowing old Rossypants, the poster is going to be pretty cool.  I will try to remember to post the actual poster after the show, but its going to be a fun night so you should try to make it to the opener!

Tear-down/mock-up

I have had a freespirit frame stripped down for a while, just kinda waiting for something to be done.  This summer a friend was moving and gave me his abandoned maxi sport project.  The plan has been to lower and hardtail the freespirit and to tune a mostly stock engine to get as much speed for as little money as I can. I don’t have a time frame on this, and started the engine ages ago but then had to move twice, got married, started school again… Life has been busy.  Anyway, today I just got restless and the weather was pretty bearable as far as being in my garage goes. More to follow, hopefully soon.

Also I have a bunch of stock puch stuff that I will be putting up for sale too, I have to figure out what all is going to go and I will post the details here and probably the casserollers forum… More on that later.  Stuff will he cheap, I just want to clean house a bit.  Anyway, here is what I did this afternoon:
